Chugboat’s Casbah debut was last weekend and I brought a little camera for some casual concert photography. Canon 7D Mark II with a 70-200L f/2.8… you know, a little camera. Much like Soda Bar, the Office and tons of other local venues, The Casbah is a bit dark and the stage lights don’t help much for photos. And as a musician I hate it when people use flashes during a show, so instead I captured the purple, blue and green faces of San Diego’s hottest bluegrass/calypso/funk/normcore band, Chugboat.
